LG Fashion Week in TO + Miss World Canada Update!

MISS WORLD CANADA: Bates had the distinct pleasure of designing Miss World Canada 2009: Lena Ma's gown for Miss World!

Gown info: Full length evening gown with a single cap sleeve, fitted - bustier style bodice, flared full skirt and cut-out hand-sewn lace appliqué. The lace appliqué was also hand-beaded with sequins.

The outer layer is Silk Chiffon and the inner layer is a 2-tone Silk Charmeuse.

The structure includes boning which is built into the interlining, allowing the outer layers to gently contour to Lena’s form. As per Lena’s environmental awareness the lightweight, breathable lining is organic cotton.

LG Fashion Week Debut!

On October 23rd, Christopher Bates made his explosive debut at Toronto's LG Fashion Week. Bates presented his Spring 2010 Collection in collaboration with Gotstyle Menswear. The show was a hit and Bates' collection received rave reviews from both the press and public.
