LG Fashion Week in TO + Miss World Canada Update!

MISS WORLD CANADA: Bates had the distinct pleasure of designing Miss World Canada 2009: Lena Ma's gown for Miss World!

Gown info: Full length evening gown with a single cap sleeve, fitted - bustier style bodice, flared full skirt and cut-out hand-sewn lace appliqué. The lace appliqué was also hand-beaded with sequins.

The outer layer is Silk Chiffon and the inner layer is a 2-tone Silk Charmeuse.

The structure includes boning which is built into the interlining, allowing the outer layers to gently contour to Lena’s form. As per Lena’s environmental awareness the lightweight, breathable lining is organic cotton.
